Quieter. Faster. Better than ever.
Despite winning numerous comparison tests and awards in 2010, the CRF250R enters the new season sporting a number of improvements that will help it continue its winning ways. A new Honda Progressive Steering Damper (HPSD) with a larger, 24mm damper piston aids tracking precision, and new suspension settings front and rear help give this stellar-handling machine even better chassis balance for 2011. Changes to engine tuning now give the CRF250R a stronger bottom-end and midrange hit, and this model also features a new muffler that meets the 94-decibel sound level required by some racing organizations in 2011.

Are you a winner? Do you want to ride like one? Then you better get yourself on a 2011 CRF250R. Weve given our quarter-liter wonder some serious upgrades for 2011 and it likes to win.

Because theres a new 94dB exhaust rule this year, we gave the CRF250R a new muffler. But we also gave it a new ECU settings which, combined with the exhaust, gives you more usable power, especially in the midrange. Its a win-win situation: A quieter bike and one thats even easier to ride.

Like the CFR450R, we also gave the CRF250R a new Honda Progressive Steering Damper (HPSD) with a new, bigger 24mm piston. That gives you more damping when you need it, but still remains as transparent as ever when you dont. Better handling, better balance, better tracking, especially at the limits of performance: the new 2011 CRF250R has it all.

The technology you need to win.
The CRF250R has won Transworld Motocross magazines 250 Four-Stroke MX Bike of the Year not just once, but four straight years. Year after year, the CRF250R keeps leading the way, not only in terms of technology, but in terms of how rider-friendly this awesome bike is. Big changes in the exhaust system, new suspension settings, a bigger, better HPSD and more midrange power make the 2011 CRF250R the best 250 ever.

Light Makes Might.
Compact and batteryless, the CRF250Rs Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) system optimizes performance, and improves fuel efficiency.

Not just Quieter: Better.
The new muffler combines with a new subframe and numberplate. On a bike this refined, just slipping on a new silencer wont get the job done.

The Power of One.
More compact and more power - it's all anyone could ask from their MX machine, and the CRF250R's Unicam engine delivers. Big time.

Straighten Up and Fly Right.
Weve upgraded the CRF250Rs Honda Progressive Steering Damper (HPSD) for 2011 with a bigger piston, ensuring even sharper cornering ability and straight-line handling.

2011 Honda CRF250R Features

New for 2011
New engine tuning produces added response and midrange power production.
Honda Progressive Steering Damper (HPSD) features larger piston diameter (20mm to 24mm) for improved tracking traits.
Revised fork valving offers improved balance and bottoming resistance.
New shock valving helps deliver optimum chassis balance and improved suspension action.
Redesigned muffler lowers sound emissions to 94 dB.

Features
= 249cc Unicam Engine
= Works-Style Front and Rear Brakes - Compact twin-piston front brake caliper, anodized-aluminum brake pistons and lightweight 240mm front disc increases stopping power while minimizing unsprung weight for improved turning and handling. HRC works-type rear brake system adds a 240mm brake rotor to its integrated rear master-cylinder and fluid reservoir, a set-up that eliminates the separate reservoir and hose.

= Batteryless Fuel Injection - Other fuel injection systems are heavy compared with the CRF250R's, which is light and compact call it fuel injection done right.
= Twin Spar Aluminum Frame - The 2011 CRF250R boasts an HPSD-equipped twin-spar aluminum frame with a forged aluminum steering head. We even tweaked the subframe this year to work better with the new exhaust silencer.
= 94 dB Exhaust System - The CRF250R's new silencer teams with the bike's revised fuel-injection settings to help fatten up the low- and midrange.
= Honda Progressive Steering Damper - We've taken the revolutionary HPSD and made it even better for 2011 by giving it a bigger 24mm piston. You get more damping when you need it, but the HPSD operation is still completely transparent when you don't.
